All eyes were on Amber Heard at last night’s Calvin Klein party in New York City, looking radiant in a little black dress. “The inspiration for Amber’s red carpet look came entirely from the sexy black dress and heels she had hanging in the bedroom,” said Burt’s Bees lead makeup artist Katey Denno.
“We emphasized her eyes with a purple shadow and an electric purple liner, followed by more than a few coats of black mascara to give the look more of a dramatic feel. She has beautiful alabaster skin, which we perfected with a bit of Vapour Organic foundation, and we emphasized her brows with just a bit of brown shadow”, said Denno.
“We followed it up by contouring her cheeks with a bit of creamy pink cheek cream from Kjaer Wes, which also added a nice ‘rosy’ hue. And to finish the look, I filled in her lips with the new Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands, and topped it off with a light layer of Burt’s Bees Lip Shine in Whisper (and patted the product into the skin to take away any shine!).”
